Blackwing Bio LLC, doing business as The Three Aminos, sells peptides, reference compounds and laboratory supplies for laboratory research use only. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every account and order.
What “research use only” means
- Products are intended solely for in vitro laboratory research and analytical work by qualified researchers.
- Products are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, food or medical devices.
- Products have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other authority for any medical, therapeutic, diagnostic or veterinary use.
- No statement on this Site, on a label or in our communications is a claim that any product diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates or prevents any disease or affects the structure or function of the body.
Prohibited uses
Products may not be:
- administered to humans or animals by any route, including injection, ingestion, inhalation or topical application;
- used in clinical, diagnostic or veterinary procedures;
- compounded, formulated or repackaged for human or animal use, or used to make foods, dietary supplements or cosmetics;
- resold or relabeled as consumer health, wellness, fitness or performance products; or
- used for any purpose prohibited by federal, state or local law.
Purchaser requirements
By creating an account or placing an order you represent and warrant that:
- you are at least 21 years old;
- you are purchasing for legitimate laboratory research;
- you have the training to handle research chemicals safely and will use them only in an appropriate laboratory setting; and
- you will store, handle and dispose of products in compliance with all applicable laws and safety standards.
You confirm these statements when you create your account, each time you sign in, and again at checkout. We record these confirmations with your account and order.
No dosing or medical information
We do not provide dosing, administration or medical guidance of any kind, and we will not answer such questions. Nothing on this Site is medical advice. Our products are not for human or animal consumption. Any request for dosing or use information, or any statement that a product is or will be used in humans or animals, violates this policy and may result in cancellation of open orders and a permanent ban from future purchases.
Enforcement
If we believe a purchase or request may be for human or animal use, including any admission or statement in an order note, email, message or review that a product is or will be used in humans or animals, we may, at our discretion:
- refuse or cancel the order (refunded to the original payment method, less any non-refundable payment processing fees);
- limit quantities or request additional information about your research; and
- suspend or permanently close your account and ban you from future purchases.
We cooperate with law enforcement and regulators where required by law.
